working out some Totem ideas.

I have always enjoyed totems, since I have been morphing bodies and faces lately, a totem seemed a natural evolution…

Mom and dad came for a visit.

Mom gave me a valentine plant, its a joya and the leaves are shaped like a heart

We made tamales. Dad spent over an hour mixing the “masa” ie; corn dough

Mom spread the masa onto corn husks and I layered the meat filling and an olive.

Even the olives were home canned. Then mom made fresh salsa. and we ate. and ate.

Then I put the remaining six dozen in the refrigerator, for another day.

Thanks Mom and Dad.
