My New Blogging System
Friday, April 20th, 2007My new blogging system is up and running. The love hub had a hard time getting it set up and configured for me, but I like it more than the previous Plone system.
My biggest regret in switching systems is that I lose all of my previous entries. I had previously published 176 posts — I didn’t realize how much babbling I’d done over the past few years. Oh, well, new history to make.
So I thought that I’d commemorate this first blog with one of my favorite figures. She’s titled, "Obsolete Reminders" and was featured on the cover of Art Doll Quarterly for the 2005 Winter edition. She stands about 12 inches tall and is made from wire mesh, paper mache, glass, aoxie sculpt, and paper clay. She is on display at the Ten Women Gallery in Venice California.
