Cocooning

Temps are way to high in southern Cali, I’m melting.

I’m thinking about listing giclees and prints on ebay since all fees are waived for the month of September.

repeat visitors here know that my brother passed away recently. I kept a few cds that he had, like Pink Floyd and Frank Zappa, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and a few others I thought I would give a listen to. I’ve actually never listened to the full albums of any of these because generally I don’t care for hard rock. Anyway, I’m really loving Dark Side of the Moon. I’m just not sure if I can get through Nine Inch Nails however.

There is something very unique and VERY mysterious about Dark Side of the Moon.  If you have a little time and a copy of The Wizard of Oz, start the cd at the exact moment the MGM lion roars for the 3rd time—the music seems to synchronize with what is going on in the movie, almost perfectly… It isn’t exact, but a fun experiment I found after hearing a great deal about it.  The music from that album is haunting and soothing almost simultaneously and rather stimulating for a creative burst.

Just wanted to also mention—there is a deeper "soul" in the eyes of these latest paintings here…and the 3d cocoon…very enticing.  Working with textiles may somehow be what is calling to you…yes, anther media, but it may open up something inside longing to be realized—just a thought…

You are wonderful at all you do!!!  *MUCH* love energy and peace coming to you from your friend in the cyberspace, Bonnie  🙂

    Oh Bonnie,

I’m so lucky you found my blog! How interesting about Dark Side of the Moon/The Wizard of Oz, I think I recorded The Wizard of Oz the last time it was on tv, not too long ago, I’ll definately see if I can hear what you are speaking of.

Thanks for your comments and continued interest here and your genuine positive energy, much appreciated.  I’ll be thinking of your comment as I explore the possibilities for cocoons…

Wishing you a lovely holiday weekend
