Ever feel like a fish out of water? I think I have always felt that way. Never having fit into into various types of groups, or belief systems. I have always valued thinking for myself, and not just accepting what I was taught or told as a child. I’m not so “main stream” I’m a bit of an odd ball or a “fish out of water”. The painting has a bigger connotation in that it suggests embracing differences and there is more to this idea that has to do with needing air, but I haven’t quite figured it out yet.
